Today Duncan and I began our monthly membership at Fuel Training Club. I had done a free trial earlier on in the year so I knew what it was all about...challenging but convenient workouts. Located just west of King and Spadina, this location is perfect for anyone working in the downtown core.
The workout was exactly what I needed, with everything at BrainStation and Soh Calm getting busier and busier I was in need of a good "ass kicking".
Kristina was my instructor. Here is a little bit about her from the site:
Exercise has always played a huge role in Kristina's life. She was a national-ranked swimmer and completed her master’s degree in exercise psychology at McGill University while also coaching a triathlon club there. Over the past 5 years as a personal trainer, she has accumulated over 10 certifications in fitness and management, trained over 100+ personal training clients, and mentored dozens of new personal trainers.
Kristina believes, "Being an ‘athlete’ is a mindset and a way of life. It does not mean you have to compete to be better than others, but rather it means you have to have a commitment to keep getting better for yourself. I believe it is our destiny to live fit and active lives and to push ourselves to higher physical limits, just sometimes our busy modern worlds get in the way!"
